Prophetic Lesson on “Light”5-22-2015
Matthew 5:14-16; Matthew 25:1-13; 2 Timothy 3:1-9
Luke 12:35-36; John 12:35-36; 1 Thessalonians 5:2-10
Light shines through those who have submitted themselves to the process of illumination. [Ephesians 1:15-23] The Light that is in you comes from your creator. [2 Corinthians 4:3-6] Apart from Me there is only darkness. No human wisdom or understanding can produce light. These things only provide commentary on the darkness and can offer no true understanding and direction. [Romans 8:6-8] You are not of the darkness; you are of the light. Why then do you associate yourself with that which is not light? [Ephesians 5:8-16; Romans 13:12-14; 2 Corinthians 6:14-16] Darkness is falling upon the whole world as the son of perdition is poised to fully implement the plan that has been in the making for a very long time. The enemy of darkness is the light [John 3:19-21] and the enemy of your soul desires to cut off the light that is in you. How does he do this?
1. He makes you to question the whole concept of right and wrong and points you to relativism. [Proverbs 14:12; 1 Corinthians 3:18-21]
2. He uses your own agenda (lusts, emotions, etc.) to skew the truth and distort the light. [Matthew 6:19-24]
3. He causes you to tolerate within yourself that which is clearly not of Me. [1 John 1:5-7]
4. He causes discouragement by making you believe that your labor is in vain and that, ultimately, life is arbitrary in terms of outcome. [Galatians 6:7-8]
5. He makes you question the austerity of righteous living causing you to only see the “suffering” of righteousness rather than the reward. [Galatians 6:9-10]
6. He makes you deny the reality of the Sin nature so that you trust your flesh. [Romans 5:18-19]
7. He makes you reject the notion that suffering is necessary. [2 Corinthians 4:16-18; John 16:33]
In order to endure until the end you must allow the truth to take you wherever it leads without your preconception as to what it should look like. Let the Light lead you out of darkness. Let the Light lead you home…
